Index Corp. names distributors

Index Corp., Noblesville, Ind., as part of a revitalized sales, marketing and service strategy, partnered with five new, highly qualified distributors and realigned sales territories.  “With the challenges facing manufacturers today, including with part cost reductions and limited skilled manpower, INDEX will educate the precision parts markets to the unequalled productivity and profitability of INDEX and TRAUB solutions,” said Tom Clark, President and CEO, INDEX Corporation. “Leveraging the reputations of our dealer organizations, with local sales and service capability, we will provide our customers the most productive turning solutions with excellent local support.”

Technical Equipment Sales, Cincinnati, OH, will represent INDEX and Traub precision turning machines in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Technical Equipment operates three offices in Ohio. “Technical Equipment, a well-known machine tool distributor in the Midwest, will work with INDEX and Traub to increase penetration in this important market area, and will bring important local applications and service support to our customers in this region,” said Mr. Clark.

Marcus Machinery, Pittsburgh, PA, expands its representation of INDEX into West Virginia. Marcus Machinery has represented Index and Traub in Western Pennsylvania since 2014. “Representing Index in West Virginia will provide area manufacturers with access to the premier turning machines in the world, improving the quality of manufacturing in our entire region.”  says Marcus Machinery President Mark Henne.

Premier Machine Tool Midwest, LLC, Hartland, WI, will represent INDEX in Wisconsin. Premier is headed by AJ Schweda and provides highest quality equipment, service, and solutions to assist quality manufacturers optimize investments in manufacturing technology. According to Mr. Schweda, “We provide unique manufacturing solutions to everyday challenges within the machining and manufacturing industry, identifying a challenge the customer faces and uncovering opportunities to overcome the challenge and implement solutions to maximize time, talent, and resources. We look forward to introducing INDEX and TRAUB solutions to our territory.”

Integrated Machinery Solutions, Itasca, IL, will represent INDEX and TRAUB in Northern Illinois. IMS provides quality machine tools to the automotive, aerospace/defense, energy, medical, die/mold industries and metal cutting machine shops. Started in 1975, it provides training, support and machine demonstration at its showroom. The staff at IMS are well-versed in helping shops in their territory optimize their production.
