Wolfram Manufacturing Technologies, a developer and integrator of advanced machine tool technologies, has expanded its machine shop footprint, adding new machines and tripling machining throughput. These advances will be showcased at an open house scheduled for February 1, 2024.

Katherine Satterwhite, Operations for the company said that the company had been pushing the limits of its machine shop. “We take a very forward-thinking approach to our lean manufacturing, leveraging technology and best practices. Our new space allows us to add more machines, service more manufacturing clients with the same high-quality products we’re known for, and add additional staff. We’re excited to open our doors and invite our customers, prospects, vendors, partners, friends, and family to see the shop and hear about our approach.”

Wolfram Manufacturing Technologies Open House will feature exhibitors such as Caron Engineering, Omega Tool Corporation, Tsugami America, Blum-Novotest, and others. There will be guided tours through the shop floor to see the machines and learn about the technologies being used, as well as informative speaking sessions.

Visitors can also learn about the company's OnTakt software platform. In addition to being a high-volume machine shop, Wolfram is the creator of OnTakt, the platform designed for small and medium-sized shops looking to implement a solution for managing a manufacturing floor both on-site and remotely while also enabling enterprises to collect, filter, and route machine data to dashboards, factory apps, and enterprise solutions.

“With decades of running production shops, we created OnTakt to solve the problems we experienced first-hand to optimize our production efficiently by giving us the data to make smart, rapid decisions. Ontakt leverages machine tools and other data sources across a wide range of equipment and systems for context - real situational awareness to produce more with fewer people,” said Nathan Byman, president of Wolfram Manufacturing Technologies. “We are also Caron Engineering system integrators, leveraging all their technologies in our shop. The advantage we bring to our software clients is that we can share our personal machining experience and how we leverage these technologies for better production outcomes.”
