PCX Aerostructures announced they have completed a facility expansion at their Mansfield, Texas-based Cam-Tech Manufacturing division. The addition of over 15,000 sq. ft. was designed to increase assembly capabilities and provide additional space for newly acquired capital equipment.

“Our business at Cam-Tech continues to grow, and this expansion has allowed us to redesign and improve our assembly capabilities adding new state-of-the-art tooling and processes” said PCX Aerostructures President and CEO Alan Haase. “This dedicated area, along with other unique offerings such as Blue Streak capabilities, allows us to substantially grow our assembly business and provide greater value to our customers by delivering assemblies directly to their production lines.”

Having been strategically designed, the transition to new quarters provides room for growth, as Cam-Tech Manufacturing introduces new machining centers, allowing the company to evolve and continue to meet the advanced requirements of the aerospace industry.

Cam-Tech Manufacturing machines structural airframe components on major commercial and military aircraft programs. The company utilizes high-speed manufacturing processes in the fabrication of complex wing and fuselage components. Additional production capabilities include Blue Streak manufacturing, large, tight tolerance structural assemblies to include center wing box frames, wing tip ribs, leading edge ribs, bulkheads and fittings.
