Measurement and control manufacturer Marposs S.p.A., Bologna, Italy, has acquired FL Tool Holders LLC of Livonia, Mich., a manufacturer of tooling and gaging products for the automotive, aerospace, marine and off-road manufacturing industries. FL Tool Holders is ISO 9001 certified and has engineering design and manufacturing capabilities to support manufacturing customers globally, according to the company. Additionally, the company offers an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited gage room, and provides on-site training, service and repair for its range of products.
"Marposs is pleased to welcome FL Tool Holders into our group of production companies," said Marposs President Stefano Possati. "Their technical and production capabilities perfectly complement Marposs' abilities in the areas of gaging and machine tool accessories. This acquisition gives Marposs greater opportunities to serve our customers both in North America and the rest of the world."
