Stellar Industrial Supply Inc.Tacoma, WA, January 17, 2019 — Stellar Industrial Supply, which distributes more than 35,000 MRO (maintenance, repair and operation) products and tools from more than 1,500 brands for Safety, Metalworking, Marine Supply, Aerospace, and other general manufacturing and processing organizations, and also offers customized Indirect Material Management solutions, today named Fullerton Tool Company, Inc. as its 2018 Supplier of the Year award winner.  

The Stellar Industrial Supply Supplier of the Year award recognizes the strong partnership between Stellar Industrial Supply and Fullerton, and the commitment by Fullerton to deliver on the Stellar Industrial mission to consistently deliver to joint customers integrity, exemplary experiences, enhanced value and cost savings.

Supporting that customer-supplier vision overall for Stellar Industrial Supply is its Documented Cost Savings Program (DCS). Here, Stellar collaborates with its supplier partners to bring innovative and/or new and more efficient solutions to customers, geared to maximize production and enhance overall profitability. In 2018 alone, Stellar and its DCS partners combined to save more than $20.3 million in customer approved documented cost savings. By way of example, 3M and Stellar saved customers more than $5.3 million, while Sandvik Coromant and Stellar saved joint customers more than $2.3 million.

To date, since inception in 2010, the DCS program has generated more than $103 million in customer approved documented cost savings.
