Eriez-Australia appoints sales director

Eriez Manufacturing Co., Erie, Pa., named Ezio Viti as the sales director at Eriez-Australia, Epping, Australia. A mechanical engineer with more than 30 years of experience applying process solutions in the mining, resources recovery, wastewater and general process industries, he will manage the sales team for Eriez-Australia.

Before joining Eriez Manufacturing, he served as a business development consultant. In this role, Viti assisted local and offshore technology startups, as well as overseas suppliers seeking to enter the Australia and New Zealand market space. Prior to that, he spent 6 years as sales director and CEO of Steinert Australia Pty Ltd., Bayswater, Australia, where he was responsible for the Asia-Pacific region in addition to managing the group's mining center of excellence.
