Bunting Magnetics creates COO position

Jana Davis to oversee daily business operations

Jana Davis steps into a new role as Chief Operating Officer at Bunting Magnetics Co. effective May 30. Davis, who joined the company in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer, will oversee day-to-day business operations at the company's Newton, Kan., location, as well as at its Magnet Materials Division in Elk Grove Village, Ill., Bunting Magnetics Europe in Berkhamsted, U.K., and Magnet Applications Inc. in DuBois, Penn.

“Jana is a trusted leader who, as Chief Financial Officer, consistently delivered results in financial management, corporate strategy development, operational efficiencies and people development," said Bob Bunting, the company's president and CEO. "I can think of noone better to ensure operational excellence and drive our continued market leadership.”

This new COO position within the company's executive management team "greatly adds to our capacity to implement our growth strategy," Bunting added.

“I’m proud to take another step within Bunting Magnetics,” said Davis. “I look forward to this new role and helping the company take its next stage of growth.”
