GF divisions broaden sales and service support with new facility in Mexico

GF Machining Solutions and GF Piping Systems are further enhancing their direct sales and service support to customers in Mexico with the opening of a new Nuevo Leon joint headquarters. In late October 2019, the companies conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for the 75,000-sq.-ft. facility.

With a state-of-the-art showroom and expansive inventory space, the new headquarters will house a full sales and service support staff that will ensure high responsiveness and application expertise. To help streamline the sales process and shorten delivery times for customers, the facility will also serve as a strategically located central distribution center for Mexico.

“Our expanded presence in Mexico will further reinforce the existing knowledge and understanding Mexican manufacturers have of GF’s broad range of high-quality and reliable manufacturing and piping technologies,” said Philipp Hauser, president – head of market region North and Central America for GF Machining Solutions. “Those customers will also benefit from the new facility, especially in terms of fast and proactive sales and applications service and support.”

The GF Machining Solutions Mexican headquarters will be located at Av. Industrias 110, Parque Industrial PIMSA Oriente, Apodaca, Nuevo Leon CP 66603 Mexico.

“For our existing and future customers in Mexico and Latin America, the new facility will allow for increased stock capacity for same day shipping in most instances and ample space for training all our customers – whether OEM, engineering firm or distributor,” said Jose Luis Rodriguez, director general/country manager, Georg Fischer S.A de C.V. “These customers will also gain a better understanding of all the piping solutions we offer, and the new facility’s larger space will also provide plenty of room for customized valve assembly as well as prefabricated and specialty pipes to fulfill customer projects from piping to control and measurement components for any industry where water and chemicals need transported and treated.”
