William Shaffer is the designer of the Conicity IXM-50 honing machine, as well as president of Solo Solutions, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and executive vice president of Conicity Technologies LLC, the Cresco, Pennsylvania, company that manufactures the IXM-50. Shaffer has more than 30 years’ experience in the cutting tool industry.
