Modular high-speed jet spindles

ISCAR is introducing the Spin-Jet spindle, its new modular high-speed jet spindles. The Spin-Jet new module cartridge design ensure fast turnaround and cost-effective long-term maintenance, the company says. It also features high-precision ER11 GHS & AAA UP collet, low runout, a new BLE sensor that works with both iOS and Android free apps, high-speed precision ball bearings, and a new high-pressure turbine.

The company adds that the Spin-Jet’s benefits include:

• Supports cutting tools with 6mm shank, with precision
• Accuracy up to 3 Microns
• High speed precision ball bearings
• Spindle powered by 15 to 70 bar high pressure coolant
• The choice between P-JET and S-JET is not determined solely by the machine’s available pump pressure; it also depends heavily on the specific application, cutting tool diameter, and raw material.

P-JET, the company adds, is ideal for tooling and engraving on soft/hard metals with small tools and the
S-JET is ideal for high quality finishing process with small to micro tools.
