For high-speed and high-precision turning in a space-saving design, the Mazak Corp. QTE-100 CNC turning center with a 6" chuck can process parts up to 11.42" in diameter. The QTE-100 features a built-in motor spindle designed to deliver high torque, even at low speeds, for enhanced cutting capacity. 

The QTE-100 features a 12-position drum turret, and a wide range of turning, milling, Y-axis, and second spindle specifications are available to suit specific production requirements. Mazak MAZATROL SmoothEz CNC offers both EIA/ISO G-Code and conversational programming, giving manufacturers infinite part production possibilities.

Horizontal milling is further broken down into conventional milling, where the cutter rotates opposite the direction of feed, or “up” into the workpiece; and climb milling, where the cutter rotates in the direction of feed, or “down” into the workpiece.
