Star Cutter hires sales and applications engineer

Star Cutter Co. in Farmington Hills, Michigan, has hired Josh Hubbard as a sales and applications engineer at its Elk Rapids, Michigan, facility where the company builds its 5-axis CNC tool grinding machines.

In this position, Hubbard will support the sales team by engineering processes and delivering solutions to Star’s tool grinding customer base.

Hubbard brings significant experience in running a variety of CNC programs in industry, including the Star CNC 5-axis platform. Additionally, the company says he is skilled in Numroto software, where he has simulated and produced tooling for the fields of aerospace, military, medical, and automotive since 2007.
