Blum-Novotest Inc.

Brian Morris started with Blum-Novotest seven years ago as the Midwest Regional Manager. As of March 1, 2019, Brian has transitioned to cover the Southwest region of the country. Brian brings his proven track record of success in the Midwest to his new territory in the Southwest. There, he will be responsible for procuring new business opportunities and strengthening current business relationships, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. Based out of Dallas, TX, Brian will take over management responsibilities of both sales and service processes in the Southwest region of the United States.

Brian’s career in the manufacturing industry started with his first job as a cnc machinist for a job shop in Rockford, IL. After gaining machining experience, he was quickly promoted to an Application Engineer and then Senior Application Engineer for an east coast machine tool builder. In this role, he was responsible for training new customers on machine tool controllers and programming. From there, Brian utilized his manufacturing knowledge to transition into a sales role for a cnc machine tool accessory provider. Next, a Sales Manager role, covering the entire Midwest region for that same company. For the past seven years, Brian has played an invaluable role in growing the Blum-Novotest business in the United States and we’re excited to see his success in a new region. Brian’s favorite hobbies include hunting and motorsports, so the southwest is sure to be a great new place for him to call home!

Taking over as Midwest Regional Manager is Blum-Novotest veteran, Andrew Nichols. Andrew has been with the company for five years in a leadership role overseeing service installations as a Product Specialist. He has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s relationship with many key accounts and has brought the company great success in his prior role. Moving forward, Andrew will bring his extensive product knowledge and experience to take over management responsibilities of all sales processes in the Midwest region of the United States. Andrew will be based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Andrew’s career in the manufacturing industry started immediately after finishing his schooling, with an apprenticeship for a mold making shop. Upon completion, he became a Journeyman tool and die maker and eventually a 3-axis and 5-axis cnc programmer. After gaining experience on the shop floor, Andrew transitioned into management for an investment casting company working in the automotive, oil and gas, firearm and agriculture industries. For the past 5 years, Andrew has been an expert Product Specialist for Blum-Novotest, assisting customers nationwide. Andrew was born and raised in Wisconsin. The business experience and network he has built in the Midwest will be a great asset as he jumps into his new sales role. Andrew is happily married with one son who he loves to go snowmobiling with during those long Wisconsin winters.
