Expansion of Sumocham Drill Range to 4.0 and 5.9 mm Diameters

ISCAR has expanded the small diameter range of its leading SUMOCHAM hole making line to include new heads and tools from 4.0 mm up to 5.9 mm.

ICP - 4.0-5.9 with 0.1 mm increments.
ICM- 5.0-5.9 with 0.1 mm increments.
ICK - 5.0, 5.5 & 5.9 mm.

The drill bodies are available in 3xD and 5xD length to diameter ratios. The inserts are supplied in a specifically developed user-friendly key, enabling easy mounting with no setup time.

Additional Products from Iscar USA

ISCAR is introducing unique chucks that combine user-friendly hydraulic clamping with side screw clamping for Weldon type shank tools.

ISCAR introduces the ISCAR HELIQMILL 390 line, a new step of development of the insert with helical cutting edge.

Iscar Metals' HELIDO S890 FSN is a new family of right-hand indexable face mills with an 88°Cutting edge angle (2 degree lead) with 8 helical cutting edges, which can be used for up to 9mm depth of cut.

ISCAR is introducing the IC806 — a new complementary SUMO TEC PVD coated grade for machining high temperature alloys, especially Inconel 718.

ISCAR is expanding the range of MINCUT inserts and tools for face grooving and turning in a diameter range of 10 to 34mm, for up to 9mm grooving depth.

Following the introduction of grade IC6015, ISCAR is introducing an additional new, SUMO TEC CVD coated grade, IC6025, which was developed for machining stainless steel at moderate cutting speeds for stable or unstable conditions.

Deep hole drilling is very popular in the automotive, die and mold and aerospace industries. ISCAR took the gundrill technology one step further when developing the new CHAMGUN for deep hole drilling; this is a gundrill that enables the replacement of drilling heads while the driver is still…

ISCAR TIGERV heavy-duty grooving inserts with a new chipformer design, ensure better tool security, chip control and ejection in difficult grooving operations on carbon and high-alloy steel even at slow speeds.

A new family of innovative turning tools from ISCAR raises the threshold for process security in difficult railroad-wheel reconditioning work.

ISCAR has fine-tuned its workhorse GROOVE TURN cubic boron nitride (CBN) formulation to materially improve rough and finish grooving on hard ferrous materials under a wider range of conditions.
