The Speed Change pallet system from Pierson Workholding is a manual pallet changer designed to increase production by moving parts in and out of a machine tool faster than traditional workholding. The system's base provides 3,000 lbs. of locking power.
The system only uses air to release pallets. The combination of cast iron and hard, anodized aluminum construction enhances rigidity, wear resistance and thermal stability at an economical price.
Four pallet sizes range from 8"x12" to 10"x16" and locate with 0.0003" repeatability. The 6061-T6 extruded aluminum is easy to machine. The bottom locking surfaces use hardened stainless steel components for long life.
