July 2014 - J.W. Winco Inc. offers EN 222 Technopolymer plastic hinges with four indexing positions, in metric sizes. These RoHS-compliant hinges are stable, and notable for a high resistant torque of 3 Nm in four indexing positions. All detent positions have a guaranteed resistant torque of ~3 Nm (which is the torque that must be applied to free the detent device of the hinge).

This hinge has been tested with more than 20,000 opening and closing cycles, and the value of the resistant torque was unchanged. Hinges are made of matte black glass fiber reinforced plastic (Polyamide PA), with hinge pin of stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4305 (American Standard Series 303). They are offered in two types: 2x2 bore for DIN 7991-M6 countersunk screws, and 2x2 bore for ISO 4014-M6 countersunk screws.
