January 2014 - oelheld U.S. Inc. introduces its High Speed Grinding Oil ToolGrind T600. The oil is manufactured from high-quality base oils with very good viscosity and temperature characteristics, low misting and aromatic content, according to the company.

ToolGrind T 600 is fortified with highly efficient additives making the oil perform well under extreme pressure. Its active agents guarantee favorable cooling, wetting and lubrication. None of the additives contain chlorine, silicone or heavy metals and they are all non-toxic.

During operations with ToolGrind T600, the grinding wheel remains clean and free of debris. Wheel force, workpiece temperature and grinding wheel wear are greatly reduced. The oil does not foam and its low viscosity promotes good flushing and cooling. ToolGrind T600 prohibits workpiece corrosion and is suitable for most filtration systems.

Advantages over water-soluble grinding oils are:

Up to three times better removal rate

Higher surface quality

Reduction of grinding wheel wear

protection of workpiece

The operative range covers all high speed grinding operations, such as profile, groove and surface grinding, with CBN, diamond or silicon carbide wheels. ToolGrind T600 is suitable for all conventional metals including hard metal and highly alloyed steel.
