October 17, 2013 - Columbus McKinnon Corp. has introduced the CM Bandit ratchet lever hoist, reportedly the company's lightest and most compact 3/4- and 1.5-ton ratchet lever hoist. The product was launched in Canada last month.

The CM Bandit is a HMI-Certified ratchet lever hoist. As the recognized authority in the hoist industry and advocate for product safety, HMI certification supports our company's commitment to bringing best-in-class products to customers.

The CM Bandit is loaded with features that make this unit durable and simple to use. Its compact design and short handle makes it ideal for use in confined spaces. Its portability, easy free chaining, and 360 degree rotating handle makes it one of the most versatile hoists on the market today, according to the company.

The CM Bandit's durable upper and lower hooks, made in the U.S., swivel and are bolted-on for easy inspection and removal. These hooks also feature wide throat openings for quick load attachment. Corrosion resistant parts and American-made, gold chromate load chain give the product long life in even the harshest environments.
