SmalTec International expands

SmalTec International General Manager Jerry Mraz provides an on-camera tour of the SmalTec GM703 micromachine and offers a glimpse into the company's recent expansion. Don Nelson, publisher of CUTTING TOOL ENGINEERING Magazine and MICROmanufacturing.com, caught up to Mraz at the company's new Lisle, Ill., headquarters.

Anticipating significant demand increases over 2007, Mraz said the company's new headquarters gives them the capacity to build 24 micromachines a year.
