Genevieve Swiss Industries Inc. has partnered with Utilis AG of Mullheim, Switzerland, a developer of micro-cutting tools for micromechanics, watch- and medical technology.

GenSwiss has been working with Utilis for more than 15 years in providing high-quality metal cutting machine tools. The merged group has more than 100 years of combined experience in the aerospace, automotive, medical/dental, and energy markets.

James Gosselin, president at GenSwiss, said “For the longevity of our company and for the benefit of the employees, succession planning must be part of a formula. My plans will be to stay on with GenSwiss, and together with Utilis, help guide the next generation into the future, as we expand our combined North American and European markets.”

The expansion supports the company’s strategy to develop more CNC Swiss machine in-house products. By producing many of its parts in-house, the company can preserve and maintain the quality and quantity of its components while optimizing the mix of parts that are made internally versus those that are outsourced for production.

Utilis brand products are currently sold in 57 countries around the world. Both companies are committed to having the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

“With our merger, the best interests of our customers, our vendors and our employees are guaranteed,” said Gosselin. “Our commitment to you is to accelerate our growth with innovative products and advanced manufacturing that will help our customers and our company flourish for years to come.”
