Sandvik Coromant recycles for vets

Sandvik Coromant, Fair Lawn, N.J., is dedicating the months of July, August and September to raise money for "Workshops for Warriors." For every pound of carbide received for recycling during those months, Sandvik Coromant will donate $1 to the non-profit organization that is dedicated to training, certifying and placing veterans into manufacturing careers.

To get started recycling used carbide inserts and solid carbide round tools, customers can call 1-800-SANDVIK (1-800-726-3845) or visit the Sandvik Coromant Web site to order a free recycling kit.

Sandvik Coromant will pay the current price per pound for recycled carbide during these months, and will also donate $1 per pound of recycled carbide to Workshop for Warriors. New this year, customers may choose to receive a recycling voucher, redeemable for product with an additional 50% at list price. All Recycling Return Authorizations (RRAs) issued by Sandvik Coromant from July 1 through September 30, 2014 (inclusive) are eligible for the $1/pound donation to Workshops for Warriors as long as the shipment is received at our designated facility within 15 business days from the issuance of the RRA.  RRAs issued on September 30, 2014, the last day of the campaign, must be received no later than October 15, 2014.
