OSG offers composite cutting course

OSG Tap & Die Inc., Glendale Heights, Ill., hosted its first ever “Composite School” on May 15-16, 2013. The seminar took place at OSG’s training facility, the OSG Academy, located at 759 Industrial Dr., Bensenville, Ill.

The class focused on the drilling and milling of composites, current practices and problems, as well as new solutions. A wide range of processes and materials were examined with live demos.

OSG Tap & Die is a leading manufacturer of taps, end mills, drills and thread-making tools. The OSG Academy is built for R&D, as well as to promote communication among the tooling community.
