ZOLLER and CCAT focus on advanced tool management

In an effort to introduce its customers to the latest technology, provide hands-on experience and cost-effective solutions, ZOLLER has kicked off an Lunch & Learn Workshop Series at our various office locations across the U.S. and Canada as well as selected partner facilities. The most recent event held at our partner, the non-profit Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), East Hartford, Conn., confirmed both the need and interest in this type of workshop.

With participant numbers limited to a maximum of 15, the registered 12 attendees at the CCAT workshop proved to be a perfect mix of manufacturing engineers and programmers. The demonstration of ZOLLER's three newly developed, coordinated TMS Tool Management Solutions packages Bronze, Silver and Gold as well as hands-on experience on the ZOLLER »smile CNC/pilot 3.0« tool presetter was very well received. The open form of the event and intimate atmosphere encouraged lively discussions among all participants, even throughout coffee and lunch breaks. “Everybody was very pleased by the professional setup and open communication among all attendees,” commented Michael Stepke, regional sales manager Northeast, ZOLLER Inc. “And we already have half a dozen people expressing interest in the next workshop,” added Robert Torrani, director manufacturing & supply chain initiative, CCAT.

The Lunch & Learn workshops are free of charge and focus on educating area manufacturers on how to best optimize production processes, increase productivity and gain a competitive edge in today’s economy.

Online registration is available at: www.zoller.info/usa/lunchandlearn.
