USCTI elects 2013 officers, board members

The United States Cutting Tool Institute (USCTI) announced the election of its officers for 2013 at its Annual Meeting, held October 27-29, 2012, in Solvang, Calif.:

  • President, David Povich - Tool Alliance
  • Senior Vice President, Thomas Haag - SGS Tool Co.
  • Vice President, Steven Stokey - Allied Machine and Engineering Corp.

In addition, the following individuals were elected by the membership to serve on the USCTI Board of Directors:

  • Steve Stokey – Allied Machine & Engineering Corp.
  • Gary Lake – Cemecon, Inc.
  • Bret Tayne – Everede Tool Company
  • Eli Crotzer – Keo Cutters

USCTI is the premier trade association for manufacturers of cutting tools for the metalworking industry. Membership is open to any North American manufacturer or remanufacturer of cutting tools, tool holders, substrate material, as well as post-fabrication tool surface treatment providers. Members, which number over 60, belong to 7 product divisions including; Carbide Tooling, Drill & Reamer, PCD & PCBN, Milling Cutter, Surface Coating, Tap & Die, and All Other Tooling. A wide range of activities include a comprehensive statistics program, human resources surveys and forums, product specifications and standards, and semi-annual meetings to share ideas and receive information on key industry trends.
