AMT and Deutsche Messe renew strategic partnership

During a press conference at the International Manufacturing Technology Show, AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology announced the extension of a strategic partnership with Germany-based Deutsche Messe AG, which debuted the Industrial Automation North America trade show at IMTS. IANA, which filled 25,000 sq. ft. of floor space, is Deutsche Messe’s first manufacturing event in North America.

AMT President Douglas K. Woods noted that IANA will be bigger in 2014 and the overlap in exhibitors between the two shows is small compared to the net gain.

Larry Turner, Hannover Fairs USA CEO, said: “We are very pleased to continue this successful partnership with AMT and IMTS. Our inaugural event this year sold out of exhibitor space. In fact, we added 30 percent more exhibition area because of the strong demand in North America for a comprehensive industrial automation event.”
